Family Vacation Fun

We had our annual family trip to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari yesterday.

(I am not sure where the 2010 family picture is: But I'll add it when I find it. )

I have been at least once every year since I was 2. It is a family tradition to all wear the same color on trips. We no longer do this, except at Holiday World. If a "non-family" member manages to "pass the test" and accompany us, they too, must wear the same color. The color-matching in itself has rules. (we are a funny family) If there is a new family member, the color must be yellow.

:) This year we had LOTS of new members. One from me, three from my brother. We stop at the first rest stop in Indiana to take a picture every year.
Quite the group. :) 2012

As usual, we had a blast and were worn out from the day. Here are some snapshots of our visit, courtesy of my sisters and their cameras. (Thank you, ladies!)

Our Children

I love children. I am from a large family. I don't know what it's like to not have a baby around. After getting married, I wanted to have children of my own. I loved being a big sister, cousin, and aunt, but none of it compared to being a Momma. Little did I know then. :)

We had our first son in July, 2009. I fell in love. I could not believe God was loaning this little bundle to me. And how was it possible to love two men so much?!
Boy-O

When he was 6 1/2 months old, we got pregnant again. We had our daughter in November, 2010. I couldn't believe the love I felt for this family!

And when SHE was 6 1/2 months old, we got pregnant Again. :) We were blessed with our third child and second son in February 2012. It is unbelievable the love you feel when you see your baby, for the first time or for the millionth. The first child or the third. It's a miracle every time.

ignore the date here. . .camera was messed up.
God has been so good to us. We are so blessed to be able to love and care for these bundles. I am forever grateful to my Heavenly Father.

Every baby is a miracle. Every child a gift. Each a blessing and loan of love from the Lord.

Starter Post

I, honestly, never thought I would be one to blog. I LOVE reading blogs. I enjoy fresh ideas and new thoughts. I really like finding someone I can connect with. But blogging myself, never really crossed my mind. I love writing. I express myself much better, through writing rather than speaking.

Bear with me, in this blog, for I fear I may not have a lot of time to dedicate to it. But I will do my best to keep posts up to date. I have a lot of family that lives away, and I decided to blog as a way to keep them in touch with what is going on in my family and house.

I just wanted to get one post out there to be a "starter." So here it is. And I hope to post more in the near future.

But Welcome to

The Dial Dynamic!
